Stay Safe Online for The Holidays

Multi-factor authentication is important year-round, but especially during the holidays, when fraudsters are more likely to attack. Facial recognition, fingerprint identification, and/or voice recognition on your digital devices paired with a strong password are all forms of multi-factor identification that can add an extra layer of security to your sensitive data.

You can receive a secure access code each time you log in to your Online or Mobile Banking account to verify or deny account access. This code can be delivered to you via phone, text or email to grant access to your online accounts within seconds.

Log into Online Banking and update your Security Preferences under Settings to opt in.

New! Introducing Card Lock

If you’ve lost or misplaced your DECU Credit Card, rest easy knowing that you can temporarily lock all activity straight from your digital device. Once you’ve found your card and confirmed that you did not have fraud, simply log in, unlock your card, and resume normal activity.

Visit the View My Visa tab in Online Banking to use this feature.

Skip-A-Payment Reminder

Need a little relief? Members have the option to skip one qualifying loan payment a year. There’s no fee and it won’t hurt your credit. Calendar November 30th

For details or to apply, visit our website and search “Skip a Payment.” The deadline to apply is November 30.

Courtesy Pay: Emergency Backup for Your Debit Card

We understand errors happen. That’s why we offer Courtesy Pay, an optional service that may cover your debit card purchases in the event you don’t have the money available. There is a small fee for the Point of sale machine with a debit cardconvenience, but it’s less than what most banks charge and will never exceed the purchase amount. There is no fee to enroll or if you don’t use the service. Call us or visit our website for details or to opt-in.
