Since 1940 Dominion Credit Union has served employees of Dominion. So when Dominion changed its name to Dominion Energy, it made sense for us to follow suit. Our new name, Dominion Energy Credit Union, will continue our tradition of reflecting the members we serve.
“Everything our members love about the credit union will stay the same,” said Mike Swalley, credit union president and CEO. Members will soon see an updated look and a new logo that clearly indicates the credit union’s close affiliation with Dominion Energy. “We’re excited to serve members under an updated name, while offering the same exceptional service employees have come to expect from their credit union.”
The name change was made official by member vote at the credit union’s Annual Meeting of Members on June 7. The rebranding efforts will take place over the next several months and continue throughout the year.
